One of my absolute favorite things about a career in photojournalism is the travel opportunities that come with it. JPG has traveled all over the United States and neighboring countries in the past decade, and are excited about upcoming trips, too! (We’ve just booked an elopement shoot in Paris, France!) One of our favorites has to be a wedding from this past summer, for our couple, Sam and Andy, in Turks & Caicos. We had an amazing time shooting the wedding, and we didn’t stop there! When we have the opportunity to shoot somewhere as beautiful as Turks & Caicos, we make the most of it. We suggested to the couple that they extend an offer to their wedding guests for family and couple’s sessions in while in the tropical setting.
One family of guests, Lyndsey, Rafo, and their children, decided to go along for the ride, and had pictures taken of the whole family. The results were tons of breathtaking photos in the crystal clear water and lush tropical backgrounds, and we got to capture them having the time of their lives while on vacation! Our goal here is to help our clients cherish the moment– we captured the once-in-a-lifetime photos of their kids piggy-back riding, splashing, and laughing together. These are the moments we know they’ll want to remember years down the road, long after the vacation is over.
