This summer, JPG has met a ton of awesome families, and we’ve been eager to capture their uniqueness. We are excited to meet new people, but we also love reconnecting with old friends, too. That’s why when Mary Ellen contacted JPG about doing family photos, I immediately said yes! I’ve known the Angely family for years because I was classmates with their Mary Ellen’s daughter, Lisa. The photo shoot took place in the Townsends Inlet in Sea Isle City — about two hours from our home here in Manayunk. If you’ve followed our blog for a while, you know there’s two things we undoubtedly love: photography and travel. This day in Sea Isle brought all that and more.
We started out with some fun photos on the Sea Isle beaches, where the water and sky were a cheery blue (which matched their coordinated attire!), making their photos pop even more. We even got some adorable 1st birthday celebration shots! From there, we drove to their home, which overlooked the harbor where their family boat was docked. After relaxing with some coldcuts and drinks, we took to the balcony for some beautiful, scenic shots of the family overlooking the inlet. Finally, we got the whole family (dog included!) onto their boat, which were my favorite photos of the day!
We snapped a quick shot of a plaque that the Angely family had displayed in their home, which read: “Memories of Vacations by the Sea Stay with you Forever.” We hope that we’ve helped accomplish this. Thank you to the Angely family for trusting JPG to help preserve your family’s memories!
Best, Joe G.
