Sean and Giang have been looking forward to this day for what seems like ages. After being together for years, the couple was finally able to make their relationship legally official, and the JPG Photography team was thrilled to be a part of the event. Sean and Giang’s LGBT Top of the Tower Wedding was a wonderful celebration a long time in the making, with style, elegance, and a whole lot of fun!
Sean and Giang have impeccable taste, and everything about their wedding was fabulous. From the well-chosen color palette of orange, grey, and blue tones, to the kick ass EBE band “Monte Carlo,” to the gorgeous and tasty cake from Bredenbeck’s Bakery, no detail was overlooked. The ceremony was very family-centric, with both immediate families serving as the wedding party. Seeing the couple’s mothers on stage with them, sharing in the union with complete joy, was heart melting. The whole family looked amazingly coordinated in their orange and coral tones, which made for awesome family portraits on the 51st floor balcony.
Also at the ceremony was the talented Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus. The brilliant choir came not only to sing before the grooms tied the knot, but also to attend the occasion as guests and friends. After their performance, Sean and Giang said “I do,” which sparked an eruption of cheers, clapping, and a shower of streamers.
Anytime an EBE band is playing at a wedding, you know it’s going to be a good time. “Monte Carlo” brought a force of energy and fun to the reception hall, getting everyone on their feet and moving them into an explosion of dancing. One guest was so inspired that he broke into an impromptu interpretative dance! Giang shared the mic on stage, singing along with the band and overall having a great time.
We had a great time, too, and are so happy that we had the opportunity to share the day with this great couple. We would like to give a big thank you to Mickey Rowley at Top of the Tower for bringing us together with Sean and Giang. We wish you both the best of luck in this next chapter of your lives!
