Rod Snyder West Virginia Campaign Commercial

The vista overlooking Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, looks like the stuff John Denver’s dreams are made of, and is a view that Thomas Jefferson once described as, “one of the most stupendous scenes in nature.” Sitting at the convergence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains, it’s a place that anyone dedicating him or herself to public service would be proud to represent. For House of Delegates candidate Rod Snyder, it’s a passion. The videographers at JPG Photography are so excited to share our first political campaign commercial shot in Harpers Ferry, and we couldn’t be happier that it is for Rod.
Rod has been a friend of my wife, Rebecca, since their college days together at Eastern University. About 10 years later, she introduced me to him after he spoke at a seminar on campus. I began to volunteer for him and eventually serve under his leadership as National President of the Young Democrats of America. We have watched him develop into a dedicated and inspirational public servant. Rod is active in many civic organizations at the local and national levels, and has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, CBS News and C-SPAN to offer political analysis. The JPG team was honored to help him embark on the next chapter of his career, and we hit the road to join him in his picturesque and historic county.
One of our days of shooting was a whopping 17 hours long, and I have to give a huge shout out to my team for making it possible. Laura H. and Dave C. rocked it, communicating well, working as a team, and staying motivated through multiple location set ups and tear downs. The hard work paid off, and we introduce Rod to his fellow West Virginians:
“From Harpers Ferry to Shepherdstown to Shenandoah Junction, I will never turn my back on hardworking West Virginians.”
Rod Snyder has lived in Jefferson County, West Virginia, his entire life. He is currently the president of a non-profit organization focused on sustainable agriculture.
We wish the best of luck to Rod Snyder in his campaign for the House of Delegates, and are so happy for the opportunity to contribute to his success. Please check out our finished video below! We’re looking forward to documenting more moments along his, and many other campaign trails.
Best, Joe
